Learn what is joined report and how to create a sample report in the salesforce lightning from this article. If you have more questions on this topic, feel free to ask in the comments section below, I will bring up a new post if required.

What is joined report?

Salesforce joined reports lets you view multiple sObjects information in a single report. It can contain data from multiple standard or custom report types.

How is it different from other report types?

Joined reports stand aside when you compare with other report types available. Tabular, summary and matrix reports are mapped to the single standard or custom report types whereas joined reports can contain data from multiple report types. In a single view, we can add different blocks of reports to analyze the data from different objects.
