How to export csv file from workbench salesforce

In this blog post, we see how to export salesforce data in the CSV file format from the workbench.

1. Login to workbench
   
2. Hover over on queries menu item and select SOQL query
3. Select View as: radio input field as Bulk CSV 
4. Write your query in the Enter or modify a SOQL query below input field
5. Click the Query button which navigates to the Bulk API Job screen if there are no errors in the SOQL query.
   
6. Wait until the Status changes to Completed
7. Click the small download icon beside the Batch Job Id
   
   
   
   
   
   
8. CSV file gets downloaded to the Downloads Folder
